Absolute Blackjack

Pretty quiet weekend around the house not too much to report.  I wasn’t extremely impressed with the weigh in this morning either … 234.2 which is a loss of a little less then a pound for the week.  A little short of the 3lbs/week I have been clocking on pretty consistently.  I won’t get discouraged though, I only was able to walk a couple of times last week because of weather and a project I was working on.  I have my gym membership now too (even though I still apparently need to meet with the shady manager who will want to sell me all sorts of add on support for my account).

I actually had a few minutes here and there so I fired up my poker account on Absolute Poker to see if I had any money left in it.  Surprise, surprise there was almost $32 bucks US in that bad boy.  I also noticed that they have added blackjack to their system … this may be good or bad, we will see.

Before poker blackjack was my casino game of choice so I sat down with 7 bucks of my bank roll and played for a while.  At the small limit table you can play anywhere from $0.10 - $20 and up to 3 hands.  I played $0.10 for a while and then spread to 3 hands.  I quite enjoyed myself and started betting $1 a hand.  I ran my 7 bucks up to 20 before too long ego must of kicked in because I started playing a single hand at $5 instead of cashing out and shortly there after I was bust.

Oh well, it was fun.  The tables have good rules (3/2 blackjack, Dealer hits soft 17, you can double down on anything even after splitting and you can surrender as well) so I am sure I will be back.  But first I am going to run my remaining $25 bank roll up playing ultra low limit hold’em, cause daddy needs a new pair of shoes.
